Christopher was a bright, caring person. He had strong morals and values based on a truly admirable character. This character was reinforced by his Catholic faith and education. He excelled in academics and served as a quiet but nevertheless constant reminder to those around him of the higher mission that we are all called to. He saw the needs of underprivileged children as a call to help. Shortly before his short life ended at the age of 18, Christopher had vowed to become a teacher and work with needy children. In his own words, “I don’t understand how people can be prejudiced. These children are my friends.”
